As you will recall, I had stated to you earlier that we do not wish at this time to engage in a new listing of requests and responses, as it will inter- fere with the primary work of concentrating on the responses themselves. Also, as I had stated to you, when we finish this phase I will he in a position to then take the time to give you an up-dated status report. I am sure that you would prefer for us to con- centrate on the responses and that your own records will serve your main purpose until then.' I am also sure that the actual status of responses to requests will control the Committee's consideration as to what has been done, in contrast to what some list may show.
