Approved For Release 2004/05/25 : CIA-RDP69B00369R000200210019-1 JOURNAL OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL Thursday - 18 May 1967 Briefed Larry Conrad, Chief Counsel, Senate Subcommittee on Constitutional Amendments, on the Agency position regarding' Conrad was most sympathetic, appeared to understand our point of view, and although he did not so state his attitude throughout indicated an assumption on his part that Senator Bayh will support our position. 5. I I Talked with Mr. Spell, in the office of Senator John Stennis, showing him the Salzburger article in the NEW YORK TIMES and asking him to bring it to the attention of the Senator with a suggestion that it be placed in the CONGRESSIONAL RECORD.
