SUBJECT Special Projects Staff Weekly Status
Report for Week Ending 16 June 1981.
~. SAFE
A. A temporary wall has been erected in the
Phase I area of the SAFE Computer Center as a dust barrier
to prevent contamination of this area during construction
of the Phase 11 area.
B. On 12 June 1981, (Chief, SAFE
Computer Operations Branch) vis t to tour their
computer facilitlr
C. An inspection of the SAVE Development - Facility
(DF# was conducted by
(SAFE Security Officer and members of ISSG/OS during the
week of 8 June. Recommendations were made to allow to
proceed with classified proces-sing in the DF computer center.
D. YourteenL_ LL field engineers and soft-
ware support engineers have been identified for clearance
processing for SAFE-C. Field engineering support will be
based in the office along with four soft-
ware support engineers. Three other software support
engineers are based throughout the country.
E. 0 is planning the Block I effort around the
government-provided implementation alternative. The revised
plan will be reviewed the week of 22 June.
