This memorandum contains a recoamaendation submitted for concurrence of the undersigned. Such recommendation is contained in Paragraph 5 2. Contract No. HF-CT-694 covers procurement of replenishment spare parts and equipments for through a Call or Production List mechanism. FOG removed the from the aircraft and no longer had a requirement for spare parts then order. Accordingly, those items which were not delivered under certain priced exhibits were terminated. Amendment No. ) 44 establishes this partial termination and reflects the items quantities., and applicable price reduction. It also sets forth the final settlement claim of the contractor, said settlement being approved by the Auditor and the Contracting officer. 3. ~o additional funds are added or liquidated by this ',mendmeut. 4. The services and equipment being procured by this Amendment are in furtherance of the IDEALIST Program, the nature of which cannot be publicly disclosed for security reasons. The undersigned Contracting officer therefore determines that this procurement must be accomplished by negotiations pursuant to the authority of section 3(a) of PL 81-110 and Class Determination and Finding, ,3XC-2122, signed by the D*)CI on 25 October 1961. 5. Concurrence in Amendment No. 14 to Contract HF-CT-694 is recommended.
