Post-Employment Restrictions on
Assistance to Foreign Powers
requires permission be granted
to past employees by intelligence
agencies to enter into a
financial transaction or other
relationship with a foreign
power to provide training,
materiel, advice, or other
assistance relating to military,
intelligence or security activities
This legislation parallels
getting manuscript approval prior
to publication. Although
inconvenient, it is necessary
to protect the interest of
intelligence agencies. Therefore,
approval is recommended.
