MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SULJECT: Provision of Inventories of Internal and External
Research to Defense as Agreed in the SSRG
NIS Repor
agreed to place the Cairns-Wetter office
on direct dissemination of NIS reports. No annotation is required
inasmuch as the standard NIS Outline provides a description of
the NIS elements.
OIR Research Listings:
Mr. Childs, State/ERS agreed to arrange with lAD for
direct dissemination of OIR listings to the Cairns-Wetter office.
ERS External Research Inventories:
The Cairns-Wetter office is already on direct dissemination
for these publications.
SEC Inventories;
advised me that SEC would be able to directly
disseminate the inventories, to the Cairns-Wetter office provided a
request was submitted by R & D through the Joint Staff member to
the SEC. This request has now been sent by Wetter through the
channels indicated.
EIC Inventories:
I I have cleared telephonically
with the EI members the direct isseminatlon of the EIC inventories.
Wetter has been advised that the above inventories will be
directly disseminated to the Cairns-Wetter offices.
