MEMORANDUM FOR: Acting General Counsel
SUBJECT: 25X1A Reassi eats of Messrs. Marshall Chadwell and
Office of Scientific Intelligence

1. Colonel White has asked me to expedite forwarding the two
attached personnel actions to you in order that the Director's Office
may have the benefit of your findings regarding some of the questions
raised by the Director and transmitted to Colonel White by Mr. 25X1A9a
in his transmittal slip, also attached.
2. Following completion of your phase of the necessary staff
work, Colonel White asks that you have the material hand carried to
the Assistant Director for Personnel so that their comments can be
appended to complete the staffing. When their work is done, the
entire matter should be expedited back to DD/A prior to being
resubmitted to the Director.
3. Colonel White has asked that all parties to the require-
ments above complete their work with the greatest possible speed
so that the Director can act early next week.
