MEMORANDUM FOR: OGC Personnel
SUBJECT: Physical Security
This Office has recently been charged with two security
violations of the type relating to closing the Office at the end of
the day. Our physical organization does not lend itself to the
system of assigning security officers for periods of time who are
responsible for physical security matters of this nature. We have,
therefore, with the approval of the Office of Security, installed a
system which assigns responsibility to the people occupying the
various parts of the Office. While specific persons may be
designated, the responsibility is shared by all occupants and
all should cooperate to assure the most effective physical security
at all times. In addition to the requirements of the security
procedure for the Office, additional security precautions should
be voluntarily arranged whleasible.
