Accomplishments 25X1A9a A. attended the Third Annual Course in Titanium Metallurgy at New York University, 9 - 13 September 1957. B. Completed and forwarded to St/I for distribution an intelligence collection guide for nonferrous metals and minerals in Albania. C. Presented the information on the millin smeltin ng 25X1A5a1 25X1A5a1 D. Reviewed the draft of ORR Project 34.1558, "Production of Chemical Equipment in the USSR" and submitted suggested modifications. E. Wrote several letters to faculty members at institutions to be visited during the 1957 ORR/ERA recruiting season. F. Completed a survey of Branch files and presented an outline of their general organization. G. Reviewed ORR Project No. 41.1586, "Economic Organization in the Soviet Artic" and suggested a number of changes and deletions. 25X1A9a II. Plans plans to participate again this year in,the ERA recruiting effort. His itinerary includes the following universities: Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. III. Administration 25X1A9a , GS-3, is now on duty in the Branch. 25X1A9a GS-5, has reported for duty in Washington and currently is attending the Intelligence Orientation Course. Upon completion of this course she will be assigned to the USSR Section. IV. Problems Nothing to report. V.
