IDEALIST - The U-2 detachments at Edwards AFEB, California, re in a standby status. b. BRASS KNOB - There was a SAC 13-2 mission over Cuba on 20 August 1963. Estimate 50% of targets covered; there was no hostile reaction. c. CORONA - The CORONA J launch is now scheduled for Z3 August and the ARGON/ MURAL launch originally scheduled for Z3 August has been slipped to 27 August to avoid conflict with the CORONA J launch. a. Aircraft #121 (3-58 engines) - An unscheduled hydraulic pump areplacemen was made on Z0 August. Aircraft #127 (J-58 engines) - An unscheduled engine CIS unit replacement prevented this aircraft from making a first flight on 20 August. First flight scheduled for 21 August. g.
