SUBJECT: National Security Council Intelligence
Directives Nos. 2 and 3
At its fifth meeting the National Security Council
approved the proposed National Security Council Intelligence
Directives Nos. 2 and 3, with the provision that dominant in-
terest in air intelligence is assigned to the Department of
the Air Force in paragraph 1 of NSCID 2 and paragraph 3 of
NSCID 3.
Pursuant to paragraph 3-b of NSCID 1, copies of
NSCID Nos. 2 and 3, as approved by the National Security Coun-
cil, are transmitted herewith for information and appropriate
action.
