1. This is to inform you that I have given the draft of the
revised report to Mr. Nemzer. He has promised to let me know by
2 p,m. tomorrow, whether there is any further change necessary but
he does not seem to think so. We shall proceed with dittoing the
report upon receipt of your o.k. and that of the State Department.
2. At a luncheon with Mr. Nemzer, my favorable impression of
him was reaffirmed. He stated spontaneously that he believed he and
I could work very well together not only in matters concerning the
JIGS1V Committee, but also in other questions concerning intelligence
on international communism. This sounds promising and may well relieve
