I want to thank you and your analysts
for your very fine Memorandum on "Soviet
Military Aid to Selected Arab Countries"
(ORR Project No. S-1962), 5 August. It
meets our needs very well.
I don't know what your policy is on
distribution of things like this, but we
certainly would have no objection to your
distributing it throughout the community if
you want to. In view of the fact that IRG/NEA
is today considering Communist penetration
in the Middle East and may have several later
sessions on the same subject, I could see
possible advantage in making this report
available at least to Ambassador Hare.
