I approved of Emmett Echols participating in the forthcoming meeting of the American Society for Personnel Administration. 2. telephoned to say that he was back for duty on a part-time basis and I told him that I would like to have lunch with him sometime next week as soon as he feels able to discuss the future of the Management Staff with me. 3. I went to the Office of Logistics to see firsthand the intercommunications sys- tem which is proposed for the new building. I think that it will work all right and we will present it to the Director and General Cabell for their approval.
