During this reporting period several meetings were held with Real Estate and Construction representatives, and they offered several suggestions and improve- ments to the original receiver building room layouts. In particular, the lounge and restroomis were rearranged, and all room dimensions layed out on 16 foot centers to conform with structural requirements. 2. Originally, air conditioning was considered to be a major cost item running to 20 tons and $20,000 for a central duct system. This high coat meant com- promising the building size, so it was decided to use window units in the shop and offices, and floor or roof units in jhe main equipment room bringing the I cost down to $7,950 for 20 tons. Initial installation will be 13 tons at $4,200. 3? The generator and warehouse building includes space for 2-100 XW generators, shop area, office and emergency transmitter area, and 750 square feet of storage space. 251 RM 1543 - Approved For Release 2001/04/23 : 8-02820A000800050053-0 fA9a Approved For Release '1/04/ CIA-RDP78-0282OA00080001W053-0 E-5217 ' 7f.1 .._._ 1 > i 'V 7:1RIOT FES 1 - 31 August 1962 1.
