Dear Mr. Baird:
The Naval Intelligence School conducts an annual two-week refresher
training course for Naval Reserve Intelligence Officers. This year's
course is scheduled for the period 19-30 June. The officer students
attending the course will come from those Naval Districts east of the
Mississippi River, and while it is too early to state what the average
rank will be, previous years have seen classes composed primarily of
commanders and lieutenant commanders whose knowledge of and interest in
national and international affairs is well above-average.
This year it is desired to present lectures on certain subjects
which it is felt could best be presented by officers from the Central
Intelligence Agency. If it is feasible, therefore the school would very
much appreciate the presentation of lectures by members of the CIA on
the following subjects at the times indicated:
