The Director of Logistics was briefed on the proposal of the
Special Planning Assistant to the Deputy Director (Support) to con-
sider the development of a support planning system for determining
and processing logistics requirements.
b. Support Base (completed)
Material concerned with the relationship at
the - base has been turned over to the Assistant Director of
Logistics for development of implementing action.
2. PROJECTS AND STUDIES IN PROCESS
a. DD/P Materiel Board (continued)
The Senior Committee of the DD/P Materiel Board Executive
Group reached substantial agreement upon the basic principles which
are to govern the revision of A memorandum to the
Director of Logistics was prepared to report the progress of the
proposed revision.
b. Project (completed)
The Requirements Annex for SR Division Project was
coordinated with this Staff.
3. OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST
a. Operation Alert (completed)
Provided strength estimates and materiel availability for use
in the exercise "Operation Alert."
