In reference memo, a copy of which was forwarded to you, it is stated
that the War Plans Staff and the Office of Training jointly will prepare a memo
to the joint Chiefs of Staff for the next scheduling of Project -. The
attached memo to the DDCI forwarding a letter to the Chairman of the Joint
Chiefs of Staff for signature by the DDCI contains no indication that this is a
joint effort between the War Plans Staff and the Office of Training. While I
presume that you are in agreement with the attached memo, I would appreciate
your confirming this in writing.
