1. With reference to your memorandum of 28 August 1953 regarding
quarterly reports ere are attached
five copies of the and Funding Mechanism
Report covering the period ending 30 June 1958.

2. The format of the report has been revised to provide three additional 25X1A
columns for: "ADJUSTMENTS - Agency Records, and Equity
Per Last Acctg Processed." The purpose is to present a reconciliation of net
equity reflected in the Agency records with that presented in the latest
financial statements. This should assist the Area Divisions in 25X1A
eir ana ysis of this quarterly report. In addition, two columns have been
discontinued: "Deficient and Admire Plan." It is believed that in those instances
where these requirements are not being met, the deficiencies can be reflected
in the "Remarks" section, thus allowing space for more pertinent financial
information in the report.
3. The facts and figures presented in this report reflect information
which was available and recorded in the Finance Division as at 30 June 1958.
It is recognized that the figures are not in all instances current in view
of the unprocessed accountings on hand. Accountings on hand to be processed
were considered in determining delinquency; therefore, the processing of
these items will affect only the "net equity account" and will not clear
delinquency in submittal of reports.
11. The "Protective Documents" section of this report indicates
"None" unless the Project Administrative Plan provides that protective documents
are to be placed in the custody of the Finance Division.
