The FALDUMP program provides a list of all DATA-TRAN records currently in the File Activity Log (FAL). FALDUMP can be run before and after the FALPURG program to show that FALPURG is purging the correct DATA-TRAN records. The output list from FALDUMP will be approximately six times greater than the list provided by running the FALIST program. FALDUMP lists all 21 items in the DATA-TRAN record whereas FALIST lists 14 out of 21 items. FALDUMP does not update the FAL.
