A new jet airfield is under construction in the Oaslav -- Chotusiee
area (050/W4.7). The area of the construction site is ten square kilomecars.
As of late 0 the terrain was being leveled by'ten bulldozers. Pipelines
had been laid to Vrabcov lake, which would supply the construction site with
water. Adjacent highways have been closed to civilian traffic. The material
used in the construction is stored in wooden sheds scattered about the construction
.site. According to the source, this airfield is to be the largest and beat jet
airfield in Czechoslovakia. A part of the project is supposed to be underground.
