2a About 40 swept-backs ling jet aircraft were parked at the field on
14 March 1950. Wlenty of thou had a white coat of paint and the
Soviet star on fusela'e and rudder assembly,, The others r:eie painted
brown-black and had no marizin;s. The air intake and air exhaust aper-
tures had a red cowling.

About 40 single-enine low-wing monopl-panes titre also stationed at
the field,, There was no flying, between 1 and 3 p.m. with a fair visi-
bility and sli.;ht showers. Some motor vehicles were parked on the
