An office of the Polish Air Lines is located in a building at the southern edge of the field,, The offices and stQ'age facilities of the special construction bureau set ui.by the government :.. Potsdam are in a building at the northern edge of the field. This special construction bureau has the mission of con- structing and repairing buildings. Two large buildings were repaired and equipped for occupation by about 200 Soviet families. The chief of the construction bureau, 17inisterial- rat Rama, (fnu) was arrested on 3 February 1950, allegedly for black-market dealings in non-ferrous metals. 2? The filled tanks constituted a permanent reserve, while aircraft refueling was done from railroad tank cars.
