I do regret the lighthearted opening; it really was not part of the plan and is not normal. I simply made an unfortunate remark about getting "wired up" which came over the mike and that elicited a laugh. Unfortunately, I was too much of a ham to let.it go by without opening my mouth again. I certainly don't think I handled the Chile questions well. It's so difficult to divide between what is pure rumor and what is fact in that situation. Everyone assumes the worst of the facts when I don't believe that's the case. I will try to work something in as you suggest here to defuse that early in the game.
