untranslated (Serbo-Croatian pamphlets:
a. A 33-page pamphlet dated 25 December 1955 and entitled "Relative to
the Dispute Between Notice Srpska and Matica Hrvatska on the Question
o! the New "Dictionary of the Croatian Language- '=and Common Orthography,
and the Related Political Deception Played on Serbia and the Serbian
People by the Communists from the "Liberation" to Date..." The type-
written signature "U~edin~ena 3rbi3a" (United Serbia) appears at the
end of the pamphlet.
b. A one-page typewritten manifesto dated 29 March 1956 attacking the
Communists and the Croats for alleged anti-Serbian 8ctivitiea. This
manifesto also contains the typewritten signature "U~edin~ena Srbi~e."
c. A one-page typewritten statement dated 1 April 1957 blaming the British
end the Americans for the Communist takeover of Yugoslavia and the
resultant misfortune of the Serbians .
2. The 33-page pamphlet is an attempt to show that the regime hen been persecuting
the Serbians with the support of other sections of the country, particu,lsr],7
Croatia. The pamphlet lists detailed grievances in the fields of economics,
politics, religion and linguistics, in an effort to document its charge that
the Yugoslav Federal Government is deliberately keeping Serbia down while
giving the other five republics preferential treatment to a greater or lesser
degree. The pamphlet is not only outspokenly anti-Communist, but also champions
a free end independent Greater Serbia.
3. All 35 pages ere carbon copies and from the generally worn condition of the
risaces it would avvear that they have been in circulation in Yugoslavi
