Last July hib sister' s stepson, Josef Neuner, a loo from dotting, told
Weber that he decided to desert because he was afraid of being sent to
the last4prn Front whereupon Weber enabled him to hide out in a hut
and provided him with food. Heuner hac already been sentenced to death
by court-martial. His father and mother, who supported his desertion,
were previously sentenced.

presided over the eonstrucLion of the Tauernhuhn ruilroeud in the electric
plant in Malnits. Later he became vice-manager of the Federal Railroads
in Viilach, South Carinthia. In 1938 he was appointed personnel chief
and later director of railroad construc tioni3. In September, 1938 he
became Man4*ging Director of the Roichabann in Linz.
