SIGINT Satellite, 4 Jun 85
Mr. Aldridge received your memorandum regarding the combined
satellite system decision just prior to leaving on his current overseas
trip. Accordingly, he asked me to respond for him.
We understand your desire to review the process by which Mr. Aldridge
arrived at his recommendation regarding a combined system.
To this end, Mr. Aldridge has asked that we proceed wi sc e u ing a
briefing, consistent with his earliest availability after his trip. I have
attached the proposed agenda for the briefing for you and the principals and
staff named in your memorandum. The meeting has been scheduled for 19 July
from 1400 to 1630 in the Community Headquarters Building.
