Achmad Wtiiranata Kusuma, the son of the V ali Negara of Pasundan and a guerrilla
leader,,, quit Solo for West Java on 19 December 1948 when the second police
action began. He is one of the best equipped guerrilla leaders, and one of the
cleverest, He is equipped with walkie-talkie radio sets. various automatic
weapon; et cetera most of which have been taken from Dutch units after the
police action began, For instance, an the morning of 19 December 1948 one of
his units captured a five truck convoy lo4ded with small arms and ammunition,,
