and the construciion of a second track was being prepared, The
concrete road bridge (39 feet wide) crossing the railroad had
been in. operation since the. fail of 19475

:Large hangar (steel), slightly damaged, Ttithout roof;
3 small wooden hangars;

2 large;, three-story, wooden cantonment buildings, under
construction.
The f eld was occupied by about 40 fighters in March 1948,,

The airfield concerned probably is the airfield of TAT tIN-.

this field was being improved, and a rug ay vfas being eon-
structeda Its size teas estimated at 4,000 x 5,000 feet,.
it is Inferred from the. 40 fighters reported as
observed at the field that a fighter reejnen.t teas stationed
there in the spring; of 19483 h i-.rthe_r, information is reouirad
to clarify the condition and o^ cu.pation of the airfield.,
