1 Tie KARL'OVY VARY (ia 51/2 69) airfield was located about two
miles south-southeast of the torn, immediately southwest
of OLSOVA VRATA> Three hangars were located at its eastern
border, and a three-story building of the civil aviation at
its northern edge. The landing field had a N-S concrete run-
way about 2, OOQ-?feet longs
2. A single-engine high--wing monoplane with red e mine was
parked at the airfield on 11 September 1949. Twin-engine
A)C~3 commercial planes made flights between 11 and 13 Sept-
tember 1949. The field was not occupied by an air unit?
L ~o nent.: It has been known that the KA LOVY VAdY wir-
es een used by Czechoslovakian commercial aircraft.
The field is apparently not occupied by an air unit.
