MEMORANDUM OF INVITATION
TO: Alumni and Friends of the Patterson School

RE: Annual summer bash in Washington, D.C., area--Sunday June 22, 1980
As per usual, Vince will be in the Washington area during the summer.
And, as per usual, we will take advantage of this fact by trying to hold
a little get-together for any interested alumni and friends. The details:
TIME/PLACE: Open house, roughly 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday June 22, 1980
PLACE:
DRESS: Very informal, as if for a picnic (jeans, shorts, etc.)
AGENDA: Stand around and talk, sip refreshments, eat peanuts, etc.
NOTE: Vince is renting this apartment from an old bachelor who has zero
interest in interior decor. The furniture and furnishings are spare,
sparse and stark... definitely not suitable for elegant entertaining. This
reinforces the message: Very informal on June 22.
ROUTE: If you are driving from the District (and the rest of you can
figure it out from this),
RSVP IF YES, by phone, either to the Patterson School offices for us to
relay to Vince, or try to call him at the apartment phone
in the evenings during June 14-21...so he will know how many refreshments
to have on hand for that Sunday afternoon party. He hopes to see you there!
