Mr. Murphy succeeds Gwilym A. Price, botfrd" airman of the Westinghotl;" Electric Corporation. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Murphy served on the War Production Board in World War II. He returned to Campbell's in 1945 and four years later was named executive vice president. He has been presi- dent since 1953.
