Howeverp fore a.tiond of up to 32 aircraft were not observed at any other airfield than Merse- burg. During 1953, an average of 33 MG-15, _ or U- MG-15s were observed at Mor- seburg airfield. This number exceeded by 5 to 8 aircraft the aircraft strength of other airfields which were also occuried by only one fighter regiment.
