Overcoat, rolled and worn diagonally across the front and over one shoulder. b. Personal side arm, carbine, PPSh, or DP LMG. c. Shovel, entrenching. d. Gas masks Shlem type with canister. J-5 e.- Gas cape. worn on belt outside the gas mask pouch, 25X1 25X1 f. Helmet. g. Magazine pouch with reserve ammunition. h. Two grenades: if on offensive, the RG type; if on defense, the F-1 type.. If in defense against tank attack, AT grenades or Molotov cocktails. J. Pack with one set of light underwear, towel, soap, drinking mug, mess gear, spoon, canteen,. toothbrush, razor, and other personal. items. Uniform (which he wore). ARMY review completed.
