-Dear Mr. Vice President:
This letter is pursuant to the Director of Central Intelligence's
telephone call in which you agreed to officiate at the ceremony for laying the
cornerstone of our new building. We would like to hold this ceremony in the
morning sometime around the first of November 1985, provided this can be
accommodated in your schedule. I talked with Jennifer Fitzgerald today and
she urged us to send this request promptly so it could be considered next week
when your long=range schedule is reviewed. Please let us know which day is
