SUBJECT: Approval of Candidates for Two
Senior'Officer Schools for the
B. Armed Forces Staff College
1. The CIA Training Selection Board met to review the
candidates nominated b the Directorates for
the Armed Forces Staff College for the
1986/87 academic year. Your approval is requested for the
principals and alternate selected by the Board and listed on
Attachment A
2. The Board evaluated the qualifications of the ten
candidates to fill seven spaces in the schools. It is the
opinion of the Board members that the individuals nominated
show that the Directorates gave careful thought to each
officer's future potential, that the particular course chosen
should enhance that potential, and that the individuals
should prove to be good representatives.
3. Biographic profiles and statements of nominations
on the candidates are attached for your information. The
officers selected will be funded by their parent component
4. It is recommended that you approve the principals
and alternate as listed in Attachment A
