The New Nicaragua News Agency (ANN) was set up by t e Sandinista Government in 1979 as an international news servi e which provides its service primarily through non-aligned new agencies. ANN does not have a domestic service. We know specifically that ANN has representatives in Paris, Costa Ri a and New York City. The newspaper "El Nuevo Diario" also has a stringer correspondent in Mexico City. 2.
