(SWN) SIGNIFICANCE: IRANIAN RAIL LINE REPAIR AND RAILYAR.D CONSTRUCTION ON THE AIIVAZ-KHORRAMSHAHR RAIL LINE WAS IN ADDITION, A RAILYARD WAS OBSERVED UNDER 25X1 CONSTRUCTION APPROXIMATELY 40 NH SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF AHVAZ AT 30-48-10N 048-11-OOE (GRAPHIC 3). WHEN COMPLETE, THIS RAILYARI` WILL PROBABLY CONSIST OF ONE THROUGH-LINE AND FIVE SIDINGS, AND WILL IMPROVE THE IRA TAN r SITUATION IN THE AL BASRAH AREA. 25X1 44 NM OF TRACK HAD BEEN REPAIRED ON THIS RAIL LINE ~ 25X1 REPAIR ACTIVITY HAD EXTENDED AN ADDITIONAL 13.5 NM SOUTHWEST ALONG THE RAIL LIFE (GRAPHIC 2). A TOTAL OF 20.5 NM SOUTHWEST OF AHVAZ I TRACK 25X1 ALONG THE AHVAZ-KHORRAMSHAHR RAIL LINE APPROXIMATELY 2. (SWN) REMARKS: IRANIAN TRACK REPAIR ACTIVITY WAS OBSERVED 3.
