MISSION READOUT: - ACTIVITY AT LATAKIA PORT FACILITIES APPEARS TO BE RETURNING TO NORMAL. THREE MERCHANT SHIPS, INCLUDING ONE MUROM CLASS, ONE SOSNOGORSK CLASS, AND ONE FREE-WORLD FREIGHTER, WERE TIED UP ALONG THE MAIN QUAY. SIX OTHER MERCHANT SHIPS, INCLUDING ONE RUMANIAN-BUILT GALATI CLASS, TWO ANDI ZUAN CLASS , TWO FREE-WORLD FREIGHTERS, AND ONE FREE-WORLD REFRIGERATOR SHIP, WERE MOORED IN THE HARBOR. NAVAL COMBATANTS INCLUDED THREE OSA PTFG (TWO ON GRAPHIC), THREE KOMAR PTG (ONE ON GRAPHIC), TWO VANYA MSC, ONE PROBABLE T-43 MSF, AND ONE PROBABLE P-4 PT. NO MILITARY EQUIPMENT WAS OBSERVED IN THE PORT AREA.
