Intelligence Community Staff:
GS-16/17, Chief, Planning Branch
This officer is responsible to the D/DCI/IC and AD/DCI/IC for
directing and coordinating with intelligence community entities and
USIB/IRAC intelligence planning activities assigned by the DCI to
the IC Staff. He is responsible for integrating intelligence objectives
and requirements into a program of work for the IC Staff and pro-
ducing with intelligence program managers in support of MPRRD
resource planning profiles for the Community in the five to ten
year time period and generally monitoring performance during the
period. His Branch will contribute to the development of planning
and programming activities of Community agencies, formulate DCI
guidance with respect to these matters where appropriate and assist
elements of the IC Staff in the production of national intelligence
objectives, perspectives, and DCI resource guidance documents.
His contacts will be the committees of USIB and IRAC, the intelligence
program managers, the National Intelligence Officers, and various
member6 of the planning staffs of departments and agencies responsible
for intelligence programs. These contacts will generally be at the two-
star and supergrade level.
