The Central Administration of the Rubber and Synthetics Industry announced
the execution of the Three-Year Plan on 13 October 1949.
Prom Januery .1947 to 13 October 1948, Poland's factories produced 40,916
tone of rubber, exceeding the average prover production level by 65 percent.
Plants No 5 "Gentleman" and No L3.'B guar" were-the first to meet?their
quotas.

and 'plastic. The new pit was named Sluzba Poloce (Service far Poland) in honor
of the youth organization which helped prepare the pit.
NEW GAS TORCH INVENTZD -- Trybuna Ludu, No 281, 12 Oct 49
l(azura, u worker of the Warsaw Industrial equipment Enterprises, has
invented a new type of gee torch. Heretofore, costly acetylene and oil torches
had to be'operated by two men. The new torch uses illuminating gas, which is
much cheaper. The torch is operated by a single worker, but is just as effia
cleat as the expensive acetylene torches.
