ESTABLISH NEW TRAINING SCHOOL -- Tehran, Rahnamai Mollat, 16 Jan 51
A school for training scientific cadres has been established in Poland
under the supervision of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers'
Party, The basic aim of this school is to train scientific workers and
teachers for higher educational institutions, party schools, and research
institutions. ..
The training school consists of three departments -- philosophy, his-
tory,, and political economics. It accepts graduates of the United Workers'.
Party who have beer. party members for II years, who have had university train-
ing, and who are connected with scientific work. The period of study at the
school is 3 years, the final year being devoted to writing a scientific dis-
sertation.
This course is similar to that pursued by graduates of the Soviet Corrm~u-
nist Party, especially the one established by the Academy of Social Sciences
under the supervision of the TsK VKP(b).

In accordance with Moscow's recommendation, the Warsaw regime is now con-
centrating its efforts on training the largest possible number ~f party scien-
tists. For this purpose, a special Institute for Training Scientific Cadres
(IRRN), headed by Prof Adam Schaff, has been set up under the Politburo of the
Communist Party.
