THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION LI MI PREPARING TO RETURN TO YUNHAIi ArM VISIT TO T'AI-PEI Chung Fang Special Correspondent T'ai-pei, 9 February -- General Li Mi arrived in T'ai-pei or 7 Feb- ruar . He has been holding consultations with various depants our government about supplies and strategy and has been bbusily a ongaged in holding secret military conferences. Nov that his business is finished, General Li is to return to his as- signed sector of defense. Gen Li has denied that the KMT troops have entered either Burma or Thailand; he averred that the Koff' forces are still within Yunnan engaged in a life and death struggle with the Communist bandits. He further added that life at the front is full of hardships but that the morale of the troops was high. operationsevery .
