The greater pert of the patients are completely bed-ridden. The rotunda on the second floor serves to accommodate those patients rho can walk and by this means the capacity can be increased. The Sanatorium could certainly serve the needs of a total of three hundred patients in this fashion. "Roans contain six to eight beds for bed-ridden patients. Special beds are used which may be easily moved on casters. In front of each room, bath on the ground floor and on the second floor, there is a terrace sufficiently large to contain all the beds in the room.
