More than 100 brigades at enterprises of the radical instrument industry are
.ompeting Ior the title, "Outstanding Quality Brigade." The brigade headed by
Yarovyy hnide first place in competition at the Leningrad Order 'of l.eaia'$rasno-
gvardeyets" Plant. This brigade completed the yearly program in June. The brigade
headed by Grotdilov, charged with the assembly of complex apparatus, is striving
foi the high honor.
Twenty-eight brigades are competing for first place at the Gor'kiy Medical
Instrument Plant imeni M. Gor'kiy. The best of these is the brigade headed by
Gueev, which adopted a progressive method for reconditioning forging and dressing
dies. This brigade has elreadj earned the right to check finished production
along with the department of technical control.
The mechanics of the brigade headed by Lel'kieh of the "Tekbnolog" plant in
Moscow exceeded the norm by 60-80 percent (still retaining high quality) is as-
sembliag units of new machines for the glass industry.
Many workers cf the Electromedical Equipment Plant "MA" have also distin-
guished themselves in competition for high-quality production.
The Ministry of Public Health USSR and the central committees of trade unions
for workers in the chemical industry, machine and instrument eonstruotioa indus-
tries, and construction materials industries have stipulated the conditions for
plants of the medical industry competing for the titles: "Outstaad+wg Quality
Prigade," "Outstanding Quality Section," "Outstanding Quality Shift," and "Out-
standing Quality Shop".
The title will be awarded to the collective which systematically turns out
only high-quality production, exceeds production norms, saves stocks and materials,
and toes not receive complaints from co,asumers, etc.
The winners in the ^ompetition will be given a monetary bonus. Members of-a
brigade which retains the t?.tlc not less than 6 months will be awarded the modal
"Outetemdin6 In Public Health" or honor ceriifiratee.
