The Honorable William H. Webster
Director of Central Intelligence
Central Intelligence Agency
Washington, D.C. 20505
Dear Judge Webster:
As you may know, Air/Space America 88 will take place on May 13-22, 1988
at San Diego's Brown Field. This international air show is being organized by
former Representative Bob Wilson. We would like to invite you and your spouse
to San Diego for the opening of Air/Space America 88 on May 13.
Air/Space America 88 will be the largest international space and
electronics trade exposition ever held on American soil. "Sea Power" magazine
said that the Air/Space America 88 is shaping up to be stiff competition for
the Paris and Farnborough air shows. Even now, Air/Space America 88 has over
500 exhibitors. General Dynamics, Hughes Aircraft, Teledyne Inc., TRW, Bell
Helicopter, Gates Learjet, and other manufacturers will be displaying a wide
array of defense, electronic, and aviation products. There will also be space
exhibits, stunt flying, and air races, not to mention the beautiful San Diego
location.
Air/Space America 88 will afford you an opportunity to see the Chinese
Long March Carrier Rocket, the Soviet An-124 giant air transport plane, new
air traffic systems, state-of-the-art Avionics, fiber optic products, alloy
metal and composite plastic manufacturing techniques, and aerospace tracking
and navigation computers and software.
We hope that you can help this "Made in America" air show become a
resounding success. We have enclosed a brochure that details Air/Space
America 88. Please R.S.V.P. to Ray Sullivan at 225-5672.

2. Assignment of Space
Assignment of space will be made on a first-come, first-served basis by
order of postmark date.

request and with the subsequent written approval of A/SA management.
Space assignments may be revoked or changed by A/SA management at
any time that the minimum payment schedule is not met.

vices performed and other damages relating to the cancellation shall be as
follows:
Cancellation charges as of:
February 1. 1988 50% of total space price

It is understood that A/SA reserves the right, at its option, to re-assign can-

exhibitor of his obligation to pay the amount referred to above.
In the event that the premises in which Air/Space America is conducted

pancy, or substantially interfered with by reason of any cause or causes not

whether legislative, executive, or judicial; and whether constitutional or act
of God Should A/SA terminate this agreement pursuant to the provisions of
this paragraph, the Exhibitor waives any and all claims for damages and
agrees that A/SA may, after computing the total amount refundable to all
exhibitors (the amount by which the total amount of fees paid by all exhibi-
tors exceeds the total amount of A/SA's costs and expenses in connection
with its preparation and conducting of Air/Space America, including a rea-
sonable reserve for claims and other contingencies), refund to the Exhibitor,
as and for complete settlement and discharge of all said Exhibitor's claims
and demands, an amount which bears the same relationship to the fee paid
by said Exhibitor as the total refundable amount as computed above bears
to the total amount of fees paid by all exhibitors.
All prices subject to change upon 30 days notice.
4. Prices
All prices are in United States dollars ($US).
5. Compliance
The Exhibitor assumes all responsibility for compliance with all pertinent
ordinances, regulations, and codes of duly authorized national and local
