On 19 September, Acting DD/PS was advised that a reply to the DDS covering a directive to reflect current procedures covering the polygraph program was promised in our letter of 17 June 1969 and the DDS was pressing for the reply, particularly since the DD/PS stated on 8 September 1969 that the reply would be forwarded by the end of September and the DDS Office was so advised. 2. On 2 October, Acting DD/PS advised the reply was being prepared by C/PSD and would be ready for the Director of Security's approval by 6 October.
