During the same period, there were six breweries in operation, which pro- duced 370,698 hectoliters of beer. e~pproximately 97F percent of the beer, or 348,860 hectoliters, was produced by four Budapest breweries. In 1946, the Hungarian Treasury bought 8,^10 quintals of fine medium grade tobacco and 121,393 quintals of coarse domestic tobacco from the producers.
