DD/I reported that he had received an invitation to address a regional conference of the Office of Emergency Planning in November in St. Louis. The Executive Director said that a DD/I officer should accept and he would so inform the Director. reported that the Estimate on the security situation in the Philippines is in draft and will be before USIB on 6 October. The Director joined the meeting. Houston briefed on developments in the cases. reported a DIA difference of opinion favoring the addition of a Conclusion to the Estimate before USIB this morning.
