REFERENCE: O/DDS$T Staff Career Service Panel Minutes of
14 January 1985 Meeting
1. As of yet, there is no career path per se for Wang
System Administrators, even though many people are getting into
the field on an ad hoc basis - an additional responsibility
attached to a position. In a discussion with
OSO, she predicted thaj in the future, such a need would-be
recognized, however,?'ffiose Systems Administrators with
initiative and vision would be able to get in on the ground
floor. should be asked if her career aspirations lie
in this direction, or elsewhere. Her supervisor,
will discuss this subject with her.
2. could make no personal assessment of
caps i ities as a Wang Administrator or her
potential for ADP work, because she has had no interaction with
her in about a year.
